Methven - the amazing space located at the base of Mt Hutt Ski Area is home to Nor'west Arch. Just one hour's scenic drive from Christchurch International Airport - take SW1 south to Rakaia and turn left at the big salmon. Stay on the main road and you will drive straight into Methven. Alternatively take the Inland Scenic Route SW72 via Horarata and Rakaia Gorge and turn off at Mt Hutt Station (Alt route) and again you will drive straight into Methven.
